BlueSpice MediaWiki[bewerken | brontekst bewerken]
BlueSpice is an open source bedrijfswiki voor professioneel kennis- en informatiebeheer. Het is gebaseerd op Mediawiki, de software van Wikipedia (vandaar "BlueSpice MediaWiki"), aangevuld met functionaliteit specifiek voor bedrijven, zoals:
- een "visual editor" voor eenvoudige en intuïtieve manier van bewerken van tabellen en teksten,
- een zeer krachtige zoekmachine (Elastic Search),
- interfaces met veelgebruikte zakelijke IT-applicatie (bijv. LDAP),
- administratieve rechtenbeheer, waaronder gebruikers- en groepsbeheer,
- alsmede verbeteringen gericht op systeem / IT-beveiliging
- maatwerk opleiding en aanvullende dienstverlening.
BlueSpice is geprogrammeerd in PHP en kan op zowel Linux als Windows servers worden geïnstalleerd. Om de stabiliteit en schaalbaarheid van het systeem te garanderen zijn geen wijzigingen toegepast op de broncode van MediaWiki. BlueSpice wordt vrijgegeven onder de voorwaarden van de GPL V3 en beschikbaar gesteld in drie aparte edities:

BlueSpice free is een kosteloze versie van BlueSpice met een beperktere functionaliteit in vergelijking met BlueSpice pro (zie ook: Overzicht). De software is bedoeld voor kleinere organisatie en bedrijven, die behoefte hebben aan een centrale kennisbank of op zoek zijn naar een meer gebruiksvriendelijke en bij het bedrijfsleven passende versie van MediaWiki.
BlueSpice pro[bewerken | brontekst bewerken]
BlueSpice pro is als bedrijfswiki geoptimaliseerd voor gebruik in middelgrote en grote organisaties en bedrijven. De software heeft een zeer uitgebreide functionaliteit (zie ook Overzicht) alsmede een groeiend aantal uitbreidingen (extensies) en professionele ondersteuning. BlueSpice pro heeft, in vergelijking met BlueSpice free, de volgende extra functionaliteit:
- Hulpmiddelen voor de procesbegeleiding van kwaliteitsbewaking (inclusief, lees-, schrijf-, reactie-, verwijderings- en vrijgaverechten),
- oganisatiehandboeken met exportmogelijkheid in PDF
- semantische functionaliteit om doelmatig met formulieren en metadata te kunnen werken en statistieken te kunnen implementeren,
- blog en reactiemogelijkheden (BlueSpice Social)

Onze wiki farm maakt het mogelijk om op één server verschillende wiki's te installeren en te beheren. Bijvoor wiki's voor interne informatie, afdelingen en teams, producten, verschillende talen, projecten of ten behoeve van het archiveren van kennis uit gedeactiveerde wiki's.

Integrated Management System (IMS)
Een IMS zorgt voor een systematisch gestructureerde documentatie van processen, structuren, informatie en bedrijfskennis. BlueSpice combineert losstaande systemen, zoals kwaliteitsbeheer, risico en compliance management en overeenstemming met de voorschriften voor ISO certificatie. Het vormt zo een compleet organisatie-beheersysteem.
Documentatie
BlueSpice zorgt ervoor dat medewerkers op een professionele wijze bedrijfskritische informatie kunnen documenteren, opslaan en terugvinden. Veelvoorkomende toepassingen zijn IT documentatie, technical documentatie en project- and software- documentatie.
Organisatiehandboek
Een organisatiehandboek verzamelt informatie over bedrijfsontwikkeling (business en corporate development), en aanvullende informatie op andere systemen. Bijvoorbeeld een kwaliteitshandboek, dan aanvullend is op het Kwaliteitsbeheer. Dit kan los van het organisatiehandboek, of daarin geïntegreerd. Met BlueSpice is het mogelijk om alle handboeken onder één 'paraplu' te brengen.
Flexibele Kennisbank
BlueSpice kan operationele kennis uit de organisatie op toegankelijke wijze beschikbaar stellen aan verscheidene groepen, zoals medewerkers, klanten, partners en andere belanghebbenden. Hierbij horen ook een online helpdesk (Frequently Asked Question (FAQ), best practices etc.), kennis die binnen teams en afdelingen gebruikt wordt en een kenniscentrum voor Public Relations.

BlueSpice is geschikt om zowel conventioneel gestructureerde als snel veranderende bedrijfskennis te beheren. Het werkt met hetzelfde gereedschap, waarmee Wikipedia succesvol is geworden: links, referenties en categoriseren, sjablonen etc. etc.
Krachtige zoekmachine[bewerken | brontekst bewerken]
Vind alle informatie snel on gemakkelijk
Doorzoek artikelen maar ook bijlagen (bijv. PDF, MS en Open Office documenten) met krachtige zoekmachine voor zowel titels als de inhoud van artikelen én in combinatie met zoeksuggesties op basis van fuzzy search. Daarbij komt nog het filteren voor beter passende zoekresultaten.
Aanvullend zijn er nog de mogelijkheden om te zoeken via metadata als categorieën en trefwoorden, auteur, publicatiedatum etc.

Maak en bewerk artikelen direct op de pagina
Gebruik de WYSIWYG-editor om snel en eenvoudig teksten, tabellen, lijsten en tekststijlen aan te passen. Plaats afbeeldingen met behulp van drag & drop en voeg op gebruiksvriendelijke manier links, labels, categorie-indeling en referenties in.
(De conventionele wikitekst editor blijft beschikbaar, naast deze Visual Editor!)
Dynamische inhoud[bewerken | brontekst bewerken]
Verrijk de wiki met visuele informatie
Upload fotogaleries of videomateriaal en maak eigen content rechtstreeks in BlueSpice met image maps, tabellen, procesdiagrammen (draw.io) en semantische overzichten. Gebruik widgets om externe content zoals podcasts en kaartmateriaal. Door gebruik te maken van API's wordt BlueSpice verbonden met bijvoorbeeld een Lotus Notes database of MS Sharepoint documentalisten.
Documentenbeheer[bewerken | brontekst bewerken]
Direct werken met MS Office documenten
Voeg MS Word, Excel en PDF-documenten toe in wiki-artikelen, waarbij categorisatie en versiebeheer van meerdere documenten tegelijk wordt ondersteund. Met een aanvullende configuratie van de server, kunnen MS Office documenten direct bewerkt worden in de wiki. Dit werkt zonder up- en downloaden en werkt daardoor erg gemakkelijk en efficiënt.

Volg selectief aanpassingen van de content
BlueSpice pro voorziet in dezelfde set van rapportage en meldingsfuncties als Wikipedia. Hiermee zijn aanpassingen op pagina's, in specifieke naamruimten, categorieën of gelinkte pagina's en van geselecteerde gebruikers goed te volgen. Daarnaast helpt het systeem-dashboard ook om pagina's, die lang niet bewerkt zijn te rapporteren.

Eenvoudig gebruikersrechten beheren
BlueSpice maakt het beheer van gebruikersrechten kinderlijk eenvoudig. Via een grafische interface is het mogelijke om gebruikers aan te maken, in groepen in te delen en rechten voor naamruimten en specifieke functies toe te kennen. De beheerder kan accounts hernoemen en samenvoegen. Ook kan de beheerder correcties doorvoeren door teksten of hele artikelen kopiëren en vervangen in wiki.
Beveiliging van de infrastructuur[bewerken | brontekst bewerken]
Systeemintegraties en interfaces
"Onder de motorkap" biedt BlueSpice belangrijke integratiemogelijkheden. Het systeem verbinden met een authenticatie-server (LDAP, AD, SAML) is recht-toe-recht-aan, evenals het realiseren van API's. In het algemeen biedt de scripting taal LUA vele ontwerp mogelijkheden voor ontwikkelaars. Bijvoorbeeld het verregaand automatiseren van sjablonen.

Aanpassen van de gebruikersinterface
De gebruikerspagina is niet alleen een gebruikersprofiel, maar biedt ook mogelijkheden om persoonlijke notities te maken. Via de Persoonlijke voorkeuren kunnen bijvoorbeeld meldingen per e-mail worden ingesteld. En met behulp van het dashboard en een persoonlijke navigatiepaneel, gaan gebruikers rechtstreeks naar hun persoonlijke favoriete onderwerpen.

Implementeren van de bedrijfsstijl
We kunnen de gebruikersinterface van BlueSpice aanpassen aan uw bedrijfsstijl en persoonlijke wensen. Dit gebeurt door de BlueSpice ''skin'' te modificeren of een geheel eigen ''skin'' te ontwikkelen en implementeren. De snelste manier om zelf het ontwerp van de wiki aan te passen, werkt via de FlexiSkin-functie, waarmee het logo, kleurgebruik en achtergronden kunnen worden aangepast.

Onderweg raadplegen en bewerken van uw bedrijfswiki
U kunt ook op mobiele apparaten artikelen uit uw bedrijfswiki zoeken, doorlezen en bewerken. Ook kunt u uw laatste berichten onderweg bekijken en zo op de hoogte blijven, ook als u onderweg bent.

Coördineren beoordelingen en verbeteringen
Bewaak artikelen en krijg meldingen over aanpassingen. Het is mogelijk om artikelen toe te wijzen aan specifieke bewerkers of om een mechanisme voor herziening en goedkeuring in te stellen. Verder completeren functies, zoals het opnieuw indienen of het markeren als "verouderd", het totale kwaliteitsbeheer.
Handboeken (BlueSpice pro)[bewerken | brontekst bewerken]
Eenvoudig aanmaken en exporteren
Combineer aparte artikelen in de wiki tot een compleet handboek, documentatie of instructie, inclusief navigatie. Exporteer handboeken en voeg er bestanden bij, voeg een aanklikbare inhoudsopgave toe en een omslag in bedrijfsstijl.
Gegevensanalyse en semantiek (BlueSpice pro)[bewerken | brontekst bewerken]
Gestructureerde data opnemen en weergeven in de wiki
BlueSpice pro ondersteunt en verwerkt gestructureerde (meta-)data zoals geen andere wiki. Dankzij aanpasbare semantische formulieren, kunnen queries met diagrammen, tijdlijnen, kaarten, tabellen etc. aan artikelen worden toegevoegd. Voorbeelden van metadata zijn bijvoorbeeld publicatiedata, gegevens over laatste bewerkingen en informatie over de auteur.
Gestructureerde gegevens kunnen bijvoorbeeld productgegevens, verkoopcijfers, klantgegevens etcetera omvatten.

Bespreek ideeën en aanpassingen in teamverband
BlueSpice pro maakt het mogelijk om aanpassingen van een artikel in groepsverband te bespreken en gezamenlijk ideeën te inventariseren en evalueren. In een gemeenschappelijke tijdlijn, komen de discussies samen en kan de inhoud gefilterd worden op individuele bijdragen.
Aanvullend is er blog-functionaliteit beschikbaar voor aankondigingen van bijvoorbeeld grote nieuwsgebeurtenissen, campagnes of aanpassingen in systeem en organisatie.

Hello Welt! is de organisatie achter BlueSpice. Hello Welt! - gevestigd in Duitsland - ontwikkelt, levert en beheert de software van BlueSpice.
Van idee tot het heden[bewerken | brontekst bewerken]
BlueSpice is ontstaan en gegroeid uit een veelheid aan MediaWiki-projecten. Het absolute beginpunt ligt in 2007 bij de ontwikkeling van een bedrijfsbrede wiki voor IBM Germany. Het project heette toen bluepedia en was opgestart door Gunter Dueck. De software kreeg in eerste instantie de naam HalloWiki Sunrise. In 2010 besloot "Hallo Welt! Medienwerkstatt" de software vrij te geven onder de naam BlueSpice voor MediaWiki en dit met een vrije softwarelicentie. Vandaag de dag is "BlueSpice" een geregistreerd merk van Hello Welt! GmbH, een internationaal toonaangevende leverancier van MediaWiki expertise en oplossingen. Met een team van ca. 20 mensen bedient Hello Welt! meer dan 200 Duitse en internationale klantorganisaties.
